The aura radiating from Kang Taeyun was anything but ordinary.
His mere smile chilled the air, and the atmosphere instantly became as quiet as if a bucket of ice water had been dumped over it.
The heavy air filled my lungs to the brink, making it feel as though my throat were tightening.
Just then, Moon Dowon broke the silence, tossing out a remark bluntly.
“What are you waiting for? He would have gone back on his own.”
His weighted voice sounded somewhat fierce. Kang Taeyun’s gaze shifted toward Moon Dowon, and the smile lingering on his lips vanished.
“Were you planning to show Siho off to everyone in broad daylight?”
“Isn’t that why you blocked the place off? Why should I care about something the person who’s displeased can handle himself? Did you forget we agreed to respect each other’s tastes?”
“Moon Dowon.”
“If Seo Siho had hated it, I wouldn’t have done it. But what can I do? Seo Siho was the one clinging to me at the end, asking for it.”
Kang Taeyun fell silent for a moment.
His gaze shifted to me.
Feeling like I had to make some sort of excuse, I parted my lips, only to see Kang Taeyun’s lips curve into a graceful, thin line.
“So, Taeyun…”
“It turns out our Siho really does like this sort of thing.”
Recalling how he had sent me a meaningful look back in Busan when I glanced at Moon Dowon’s rash guard, it seemed he had completely misunderstood, thinking I shared Moon Dowon’s particular tastes.
“No. I like indoors better than outdoors…”
“You hated it? Then why did you beg? I would have stopped if you hadn’t pushed your hips back against me because you wanted to do it.”
Moon Dowon turned his head and stared at me intensely.
His predatory, ominous gaze was chilling. In this messy situation, Moon Dowon’s misleading words reached Kang Taeyun before I could offer any clarification.
“So Siho initiated the insertion himself… I made a mistake, then. There was no need to waste manpower sealing off the park.”
“Taeyun.”
“To think you were a fox acting all innocent in front of me. And so soon after the last time. You really are loose, our Siho.”
Kang Taeyun gave a beaming eye-smile, his gaze filled with forced sweetness.
The aura leaking through that expression was terrifyingly cold.
I wanted to deny his repeated claims that I was “loose,” but I couldn’t even formulate an excuse.
Shaving my hair down hadn’t been enough; now I had enjoyed ourselves wantonly in a public park with Moon Dowon.
From Kang Taeyun’s perspective, I realized there was no other way for him to see it.
“You two seem to be dying of happiness, so I don’t think there’s any reason for me to stay.”
Maintaining his smile, Kang Taeyun turned away coldly.
I wanted to reach out as I watched his back moving toward the parked cars, but I forced myself to let go of the impulse.

Feeling the futility of it, I watched him in silence until Moon Dowon shouted toward him.
“How can you just leave? You have to give us a ride!”
Kang Taeyun stopped in his tracks without a word and turned around.
His brow was furrowed with deep irritation, but Moon Dowon didn’t seem to care.
“People will swarm this place once you leave. It’s faster for you to drive us than for me to call my driver.”
“Do I have a reason to do that?”
He meant that since we had been doing just fine outdoors until now, why should he bother looking after us?
I understood why Kang Taeyun was being so harsh, but there was plenty of room for people to look strangely at a shirtless Moon Dowon with me on his back.
It was obvious that every passerby would gossip, so I slid down from Moon Dowon’s back.
“I know I’m being shameless… but could you please give us a ride?”

His hair was damp, as if he had run out in the middle of a shower.
The faint scent of soap lingered at the tip of my nose.
“How can you come to me like that? Knowing full well that I’m angry.”
“…I’m sorry.”
There was no need for me to be so dejected, but the apology slipped out at the kindness Kang Taeyun was showing me.
As I lowered my head and avoided his gaze, Kang Taeyun exhaled lowly and stared straight at Moon Dowon.
“You should have enjoyed yourself while checking his condition. You call yourself a lover, yet you pushed him until he ended up in this state?”
“I held back as much as I could. I moved with maximum restraint.”
“Forget it. We’ll talk later. I’m taking him to get treated first.”
“Are you leaving me behind?”
“And?”
Kang Taeyun’s brow remained heavily furrowed, as if the very idea of sharing a car was absurd.
A thick tension hung between them, but I didn’t want to intervene.
I only hoped to escape this situation as quickly as possible.
“Fine, I’ll yield. We’ll be seeing each other at my house once the move is finished anyway.”
Moon Dowon answered readily, a crooked smirk on his lips.
It sounded like a provocation meant to look casual, but it didn’t seem to affect Kang Taeyun at all.
Kang Taeyun gave a light, short laugh with a virtuous face.
“Do so, if you can.”
“What does that mean?”
“I’m saying I’ll respect Siho’s choice. Instead, remember that choices can change at any time, Dowon.”
Kang Taeyun whispered those words softly, then turned around and headed toward the black foreign car.
During the walk, Moon Dowon didn’t call out to him or shout anything back.
Feeling worried and realizing I hadn’t even said goodbye, I poked my head out toward Moon Dowon.
“I’m going!”
Even though I shouted briefly, there was no answer from Moon Dowon.
I saw him grip the clothes in his hand with a serious face before taking out his phone to make a call.
Among the faintly audible words, the word “cage” was mixed in.
Hearing him ask about the manufacturing afterward, I had an ominous feeling that I might be the intended target.
“Young Master, Chairman Kang is looking for you. Regarding the unauthorized closure of the park…”
A direct attendant rushed over and trailed off, glancing at me.
He seemed to want to say the Chairman was furious.
Kang Taeyun gave a short nod, and the attendant opened the back door.
“Tell him I will visit this evening. Also, contact Dr. Hong and tell him to come over to the officetel.”
“Understood.”
Kang Taeyun carefully placed me on the back seat, then went around to the other side and sat next to me.
