Edwin lingered by the door, but eventually, blocked by the knights, he had to leave without seeing Lowell.
It was only after a significant amount of time had passed that a small figure with slumped shoulders could be seen walking dejectedly past the window.
“Wait a moment.”
Lowell opened the window next to the bed.
Felix started to protest about the cold air, but upon seeing the pitiful sight of Edwin, he couldn’t bring himself to stop Lowell.
“Edwin!”
At Lowell’s call, Edwin, who had been walking slower than a snail, lifted his head.
His downcast lips curled up instantly the moment he saw Lowell waving at him.
“Dadda!”
Edwin screamed with all his might, jumping up and down in the snow.
He continued to walk a bit, turning back to look repeatedly.
Only after the knights, unable to watch any longer as Edwin tried to head back toward the tower, took him away did the commotion finally end.
“You shouldn’t be out in the cold air any longer.”
Despite his warning, Felix didn’t hide the fact that he had been very patient with Lowell hanging by the window.
Lowell obediently closed the window and lay back down in bed.
‘The cold air actually made the fever feel like it dropped. Maybe Felix was right, and my heat symptoms really are mild?’
It didn’t take long for him to realize that was a grave miscalculation.
‘Hot.’
Lowell, who had been drifting in and out of sleep while trying to read, felt a searing heat and trembled.
His abdomen, in particular, felt as though it were harboring molten lava.
It was a sudden, plunging change.
“Felix?”
Lowell caught the faint scent of Felix’s pheromones lingering on the duvet and called his name desperately.
Felix, who had been by his side until moments ago, was nowhere to be found.
‘Where did he go?’
Seized by the heat, Lowell gripped the duvet so hard his knuckles turned white, calling out for Felix in anguish.
But his calls only scattered into the air; there was no reply.
The area outside the door seemed noisy, but the firmly shut door did not open.
“Fel…ix.”
Unable to endure the ball of fire inside him, Lowell tore off his clothes.
He felt a surge of sorrow as his hands fumbled and hindered his efforts to undress.
He couldn’t control his emotions any more than he could his body.
“It’s not enough.”
The lingering scent on the duvet wasn’t enough for Lowell.
He hauled his body up unsteadily and reached out.
The scent of apples seemed to be coming from somewhere, but he couldn’t find the source, which only frustrated him.
It was like an itch he couldn’t reach, leaving him even more frantic.
‘Where is it?’
Lowell, sniffing the air as he searched, lifted his arm to wipe the sweat from his chin.
At that moment, he realized where Felix’s pheromones were strongest. It was coming from his own body.
While Lowell had been unconscious, Felix had completely bathed him in his own scent.
“Ugh…”
Though there was no physical stimulation, Lowell gasped at the sensation of Felix’s pheromones on his skin.
To make matters worse, slick poured from him even though he hadn’t been touched.
His body, fully prepared to conceive a child, sought out its bonded mate.
Falling into a state of pure ecstasy, Lowell could only cry out Felix’s name.
‘I’m going crazy.’
Just as Lowell felt he might die and wished he could just take the medicine, the door burst open.
“Everyone out of the tower.”
Felix gave the order while blocking the view of Lowell with his body, then stripped off his clothes in a hurry and strode toward the bed.
Even with his blurred vision, Lowell could see a streak of blood on Felix’s cheek.
“Fel… Felix. You’re hurt…”
“No. It’s the blood of a beast.”
Felix hurriedly kissed Lowell, who was naked except for his underwear.
“And does that really matter right now?”
Felix asked impatiently, kneading Lowell’s chest with his hands.
While Felix often sucked on his nipples firmly, he rarely rubbed his chest so forcefully, causing Lowell to catch his breath.
His chest was flat, yet so incredibly sensitive; every place Felix’s hand brushed felt like an electric shock, causing his body to tense automatically.
“Ah, don’t… don’t rub so hard.”
“If you don’t like it hard, how should I touch you?”
Contrary to his breathless voice, Felix moved his hands gently.
At the tickling touch, Lowell’s head swayed like a branch in the wind.
“Ah, not like that.”
“You don’t like it hard, and you don’t like it soft?”
Felix buried his head in Lowell’s chest as if he had no choice.
Lowell, thinking being sucked was better than being rubbed awkwardly, let out a sharp moan.
“Ah, Fel… Felix…”
At the sound of his name, the heat rushed to Felix’s head, and he began to nibble and bite at Lowell’s nipples.
Lowell let out high-pitched moans, unable even to think about holding back the sound.
“You’re so provocative, Lowell.”
As he spoke against his chest, Lowell shuddered but wrapped his arms around Felix’s neck.
Felix let out a low laugh that vibrated against Lowell’s skin before gritting his teeth.
His hands moved gently as if trying to restrain himself, then forcefully as if he wanted to break Lowell apart right then and there.
“Felix, do something…”
Seeing Lowell calling his name as if begging for his life, Felix was reminded of the first night they had spent together.
Lowell’s hair was much longer now, almost reaching his shoulders.
As he shook his head and rubbed it against the bed, he looked like the ripples of a lake soaking up the sunset.
In contrast, his face had become more mature.
The atmosphere that once seemed to hover between a boy and a young man had become sultry, pulling Felix in even more strongly.
Even though Lowell’s presence had been his daily reality for a long time, moments like this felt like an overwhelmingly happy miracle.
Felix forgot to move and simply looked down at Lowell.
“Hurry, please.”
When the onslaught of stimulation stopped, Lowell lifted his weakened legs and wrapped them around Felix’s waist.
Unlike the nearly naked Lowell, Felix was still dressed, but he was equally aroused.
The simple truth that Lowell desired him ignited a fire in his mind.
He reached out and gripped Lowell’s thighs tightly.
Normally he would have felt sorry for leaving red handprints, but now he pulled his lips into a smile of immense satisfaction.
“Seduce me more, Lowell.”
Lowell, on the verge of tears, bit his lip hard and yanked Felix’s neck forward.
As their faces drew close, they could feel each other’s hot breath.
Lowell clung to his fading consciousness and spat out the words.
“Hurry and take me. You promised to give me a baby.”
They were harsh words, difficult to believe they came from the Lowell who always spoke to Felix with such respect.
“Right. I did.”
Felix, who had been restraining himself, lunged at Lowell as if he’d been waiting for that cue.
He pulled Lowell’s body away and buried his face between Lowell’s buttocks.
“Ah, don’t do that, aaah!”
The one thing Lowell, who usually took things in stride, found most embarrassing was having his entrance licked.
Felix, knowing this better than anyone, ignored the protest and swept his tongue up over the opening.
“Ah, I don… I don’t like the licking. Ah, ah.”
“You seem to like it, though?”
Felix pointedly sucked harder at Lowell’s perineum and entrance.
“It feels like actual honey is flowing out.”
Felix used the tip of his tongue to lick up the slick that Lowell had already spilled.
Lowell’s thighs trembled uncontrollably, and his hands gripped the duvet tightly.
Felix ignored his reaction, sucking up the fluid like a man dying of thirst.
As he drank what had already flowed out, Lowell’s entrance gushed even more water, leaving him to helplessly endure a distant, overwhelming pleasure.
“If I leave you like this, a lake will form on the bed.”
“Ah, ah… mm, stop.”
