Chapter 8.3- Revelation (1)

“Did you know I was coming?”

“His Highness the Fifth knows everything.”

“Everything was an act?”

There was no subject, but Lisefield could easily tell who she was talking to.

‘That’s what I also thought.’

The first time he met the Fifth Prince, he was calm and far from being a troublemaker.

When he materialized Mana and gained the spear of sacrifice, he thought that all the absurdities so far might just be his acting.

And when the Fifth Prince defeated Desia, who was considered a genius, Lisefield was convinced.

‘He acts as a fool to fool everyone.’

He must have been forced to make a fool of himself to survive the battle for succession to the throne. There mights be a big difference from the actual situation, but this what Lisefield thought so.

“Miss Desia.”

“Yes, Master of the Blue Tower.”

“Do you think that’s what all you wanted to say?”

Lisefiled hit the nail on the head. A smile spread around Desia’s mouth.

It wasn’t because of that that she came today.

“It’s not important.”

“Then go ahead and tell me what you need, Miss Desia.”

‘What will I say? Is this what the Fifth also Prince predicted?’

She opened her mouth in light tension.

“Fifth Prince!”

As soon as Raymond finished eating, his vision shook and his body lost all strength.

Raymond shook his hand and headed toward the bedroom. He felt like he had to take a rest and untangle the twisted mana channel today.

When he left the restaurant, three imperial knights followed him.

When he first saw them, he felt reassured, but after he found out that some were the eyes and ears of theThird Prince, he felt bothered.

‘I need to create my own shadow squad soon.’

The necessity of a shadow squad, a direct escort allowed only to the Imperial family, was what he desperately needed from today on.

‘I need the single-arm swordmaster.’

He is a high-ranking knight who lost his left arm after being betrayed, and if he will follow the normal development, the swordmaster will meet the main character in the second book.

‘I have with me what he wants.’

In other words, he has a bait to attract althe single-arm swordmaster.

When Alex was out of the room, Lisefield Dior appeared.

“As Your Highness the Fifth said, Desia came to find you.”

“So what happened?”

“She’ll be be here soon.”

Lisefield disappeared after leaving those words.

knock, knock

“Fifth Prince, may I come in for a moment?”

It was Alex’s voice.

“Come on in.”

“Fifth Prince.”

“Which wizard came to see me?”

“How do you…….”

“It’s not important, bring the wizard here.”

Alex stepped down without adding any more words. When he appeared again, he was with a blonde female wizard in a blue robe.

“Alex, go get some rest.”

“Yes, Your Highness the Fifth.”

Alex left.

“Sit down.”

Desia, who was staring at him.

She nodded her head small and sat on the sofa in a rather modest manner.

“Why did you come to me?”

“I think you already know.”

He smiled at how Desia boldly talked to him.

If this was the case in the Imperial court, others will be well-mannered in front of the Imperial family but not intimidated.

Desia seemed to be the type to say whatever she wanted to say.
