“Don’t you want to know whom I met?”
Estella sneaked a look at Izak, he just lifted the teacup with a nonchalant face.
“Are you sure you’re not curious?” She was smiling right now.
“Usually, no matter whom you’ve met or what you have done, doesn’t really matter.”
Estella sighed unconsciously at the sight of Izak, who seemed to have no interest in her.
His face that looked good until a while ago, began to darken. ‘Who did you meet with….?’

But he was interrupted by two kid who look like him and Estella.

They hugged Estella’s legs tightly and asked, burying their cute face in her bosom.
“Mama, where have you been…?”

The Countess Chess, whom she met at the Salon of Rondonia, was an outstanding person from the moment she first saw her.

The Count smiled, looking at his wife as if she was the most beautiful woman and held her hand tighter.
Estella looked at them enviously, especially towards their hands clasped together.
Will Izak hold her hand like that in the future?
She really wanted to do so, but Estella couldn’t hide her regret.
She quickly changed her expression when she saw that Countess Chess was about to open her mouth.
“It is as what you heard from the rumors. We were really on the verge of divorce. But My Husband worked hard to changed my mind. So, I never thought I’d get along with this guy.”
“How did you ask your wife for forgiveness?” Estella quickly asked the Count.
“I begged for her forgiveness every day, and to give me one more chance.” The Count shook his head as if to think of that time while the Countess said with a grin.
“Back then I really didn’t want to forgive you. I didn’t want a sweet husband just for the kids. But the kids were constantly looking for their dad, they’ve probably been moved by his gesture to visit us nonstop for the past year…”
The couple continued to talked about how they got on bad terms, the trigger, and how they solved it.
Estella was grateful to the couple for sharing every details.
“Thank you so much for saying that. I’m sorry I asked you such personal things unintentionally.”
“No, I’m fine. I hope that the Princess gets along with her husband again.”
The Count replied, “You are right about that wife.”
“Yes, we are cheering for you at your marriage.”
“Cheering?”
“You must have been very talkative. Your Husband…”
Countess Chess pinched the Count’s thigh, at what he was about to say.
The Count breathed in, gritted his teeth, and quickly turned his words around.
“Anyway, I hope you get along with your husband again.”
“Princess. These days, they don’t just let this go after the divorce. The process will be more complicated if the couples reunite. As the Princess knows best, you also have to pay taxes separately. And you’re not allowed to see each other for three years.”
“Tax?”
“Recombination tax.” That sounds unreasonable.
Estella blinked as if she had never heard of it.
