Red, tender lips formed a lovely smile. Lucian felt his heart sink at the words uttered by those luscious lips.

The smile that filled the clear face was endearing. At that moment, it seemed as if all the noise around him disappeared, and only Etienne’s voice resonated clearly.

“I love you, Duke.”

The round-eyed smile was beautiful. The green eyes sparkled with a lovely light.

“I’ll lay my bones in the Duke’s mansion.”

A dark desire arose, unrecognized. An overwhelming urge to swallow up that pure smile and fervent passion.

“…Lay your bones in the Duke’s mansion?”

“Yes! Of course, Duke!”

“You’d better not take those words back.”

The naive Omega nodded innocently, not realizing he was being entangled in a deep mire. He firmly believed that the grave he was digging was heaven.

Watching the lovable figure, Lucian gently stroked Etienne’s soft hair, then placed a hand on his shoulder and gently pushed him away.

“Then let’s call it our child. The Duke’s seed that I nurtured and brought into the world.”

At Etienne’s words, Lucian’s body shuddered once more.

Unconsciously, his gaze drifted to the still-flat belly of the omega.

Does he really know what he’s saying? Lucian sighed inwardly and opened his mouth to speak.

“Just go wash up first. I’ll have the servants bring your clothes…”

But before Lucian could finish his sentence, the fearless omega dropped another bombshell.

“How about we wash together?”

“I want to see it with my own eyes. The physical features of an alpha.”

Etienne’s clear eyes glimmered softly as he gazed steadily at Lucian’s waistband.

Then, he approached and extended his hand, beginning to feel the solid weight of the alpha’s body.

Etienne smiled sweetly, his eager voice urging him on. His soft, lilting laughter tickled Lucian’s heart.

In return, Lucian buried his face in Etienne’s shoulder and spoke.

Despite trembling, Etienne nodded with tears welling in his eyes.

Then, he suddenly lunged forward, pressing his lips against Lucian’s.

Their ensuing kiss was passionate and intense, tongues entwining and greedily exploring each other’s mouths, each breath filled with desire.

Thus, the two headed directly to the bathroom, but…

“Oh, wait. Just a moment, Duke.”

Unexpectedly, nothing indecent occurred right away.

“Why, can’t you do it?”

Etienne then really left to fetch paper and a pen, returning to sit beside Lucian and start drawing with keen interest, capturing the alpha’s physical features in an academic and educational manner.

But there are rare alphas who can suppress other alphas with their pheromones, known as ‘Alpha Hieron,’ blessed with greater abilities.

They excel physically among alphas and are less affected by an omega’s scent. Most are from royal families.

Why didn’t Etienne believe in their existence?

“Chosen by the gods, the royal bloodline is superior to any other, their nobility a divine gift. Thus, these blessed alphas are called ‘Alpha Hieron,’ eternal symbols of the god’s glory bestowed upon the Letheon royal family…”

Records like this made it easy to dismiss as royal propaganda. Researchers select credible sources, and Etienne had every reason to be skeptical.

Who would trust a source as dubious as an amateur paper with no credibility? Etienne’s disbelief was justified.

“I thought it was a lie… Can you show me? Suppressing other alphas with pheromones?”

Of course not. It wasn’t even worth asking.

Other Alphas were human too.

And, as obvious as it sounds, one should not recklessly suppress another person with pheromones just out of curiosity.

After all, most Alphas come from high-ranking backgrounds.

“If you want, anytime.”

Even then, Etienne babbled nonsense, reaching out of the bathtub, but in a flash, Lucian grabbed both his wrists, rendering him immobile.

“Draw it again later.”

The lust-filled Alpha’s gaze swept over the Omega as if to devour him.

The overwhelming pressure made Etienne’s spine tingle with fear.

Until this moment, Etienne had no idea how massive the Alpha’s body truly was.

The subdued heat flared up intensely. More fiercely than before, as if engulfed in flames.
