Cha Joobin is seriously the real deal. How does someone who’s been dating for 7 years still look so fresh and adorable?

Honestly, I’m losing my mind over JuChan. Even when they’re on a break, Gong Yoochan’s out here refusing to take his suppressants because of his baby boyfriend’s hectic filming schedule. Wild stuff.

“Hah, look at these kids.”
Jang Giyoung chuckled as he scrolled through the viewer reactions.
The company had only suggested a simple “visiting your partner’s filming set” concept, but Cha Joobin and Gong Yoochan managed to turn it into something even hotter, stirring up the online community once again.
How could anyone believe they broke up?
No matter how you looked at it, there was no sign they were done.
From the moment they walked into the office claiming they’d split, Jang Giyoung could tell something was off.
Cha Joobin looked sulky, clearly unhappy, while Gong Yoochan, who had supposedly initiated the breakup, kept sneaking glances at him.
It was obvious they’d be back together soon.
Cha Joobin always went along with whatever Gong Yoochan said, and while Gong Yoochan wasn’t the most expressive, he treated anything related to Cha Joobin like it was his own matter.
Jang Giyoung even tried nudging them a bit, telling Cha Joobin to give it another try and work things out.
But Cha Joobin’s response had been, “How can I do that?”—not exactly a rejection.
“What’s with this fake breakup? They’re making people worry for no reason,” Jang Giyoung laughed softly as he leaned back in his chair, ignoring the squeak of the backrest.
He spun his chair around lazily, smiling to himself, thinking it wouldn’t be long before the news of their reconciliation made the rounds.
He’d known the two since they were little brats.
Though they were so different in personality and appearance, it was hard to believe they could be close at first.
But Gong Yoochan, who seemed to enjoy having someone younger in the same agency, took good care of Cha Joobin.
At first, Cha Joobin had been shy and didn’t speak to many people.
But it wasn’t long before he stuck to Gong Yoochan like glue.
Thinking about their childhood always filled Jang Giyoung with a strange warmth.
They weren’t his kids, but he almost felt like a proud parent.
Snickering, Jang Giyoung rotated his neck.
The third filming session must be happening right now.
They hadn’t been given a specific concept this time, but he was sure they’d manage just fine.
Grinning, he sent a message to the two who were probably still asleep.
[CEO:
Doing well?]
Gong Yoochan squinted at the message through half-closed eyes, letting out a slow breath.
He hadn’t stayed up late, but for some reason, he couldn’t seem to wake up properly.
Blinking sluggishly, he decided to ignore replying for now and buried himself back under the covers, wriggling closer to Cha Joobin’s embrace.
As if it were second nature, Cha Joobin wrapped an arm around his shoulders.
“Just… let’s sleep for two more hours.”
“Mm.”
Nodding, Gong Yoochan snuggled deeper into Cha Joobin’s chest, making sure to get a proper hug.
With his face pressed against Cha Joobin’s chest, he inhaled deeply, the faint scent of his pheromones filling him with calm.
It was the perfect feeling of safety and happiness.
When Gong Yoochan opened his eyes again, he was surprised to find Cha Joobin still fast asleep, unlike his usual early-rising self.
His skin looked a bit tired, probably from his hectic schedule, so Gong Yoochan gently stroked his face before getting out of bed.
After brushing his teeth, he quickly replied to the earlier message.
[Yeah, doing well. Joobin’s still sleeping.]
[CEO:
He must be tired.]
[ㅎㅎI’m thinking of treating him to something good later.]
[CEO:
Good. Don’t fight.]
[ㅎㅎNo worries!]
With the conversation cut short, Gong Yoochan pondered how to spend the day.
A nice meal seemed like a good idea, and if they had time, maybe they could take a walk.
Did Joobin have a schedule today? Gong Yoochan couldn’t quite remember. Just as he hummed to himself in thought, he heard the rustling sound of Cha Joobin stirring.
Soon after, the soft vibration of his alarm filled the air.
He had set it for exactly two hours, as promised.
Always so meticulous. Gong Yoochan peeked out from the bathroom, toothbrush still in his mouth, and saw Cha Joobin sitting up in bed, groggily waving at him.
“Morning.”
“Morning. Did you sleep well?”
“Yeah, you?”
“Me too. I’ve been sleeping a lot lately, but it’s nice.”
“Sleeping a lot is good, no?”
Cha Joobin stretched, his muscles shifting under his skin as he sat up and tossed the blanket aside.
Gong Yoochan leaned against the wall, watching him with an amused smile.
Cha Joobin began dressing, his body still waking up.
But when he noticed Gong Yoochan’s stare, he paused, eyes darting nervously.
“Why are you staring at me like that?”
“Am I not allowed to look?”
“N-no, it’s not that…”
Cha Joobin fidgeted awkwardly, caught mid-motion as he pulled his T-shirt over his head, as if he’d forgotten what he was doing.
“Why aren’t you getting dressed?”
“You keep staring at me.”
“If I keep staring, will you keep not getting dressed?”
“A-ah, no.”
Flustered, Cha Joobin quickly finished putting on his T-shirt, smoothing down his rumpled hair.
He picked up his phone and scanned for any missed messages, pausing for a moment before his eyes widened in realization.
“Hey, want to go to this? Cha Min-hyung gave me this gift, and it expires tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow?”
“Yeah.”
Gong Yoochan quickly glanced over the screen Cha Joobin held out before looking for his own phone.
“Hold on, I think I have… something…”
Gong Yoochan had a lounge access voucher on his phone, just like the one Cha Joobin had.
Specifically, it was a meal voucher sent through a raffle to customers eligible to use the department store lounge.
Since neither of them frequented that department store, they had both received the vouchers as gifts from someone else.
They had forgotten about it amidst all the commotion of nearly breaking up, but a notification on Gong Yoochan’s phone reminded him that the voucher was valid only until tomorrow.
“Who gave yours to you, hyung?”
“Oh, this? Senior Jihyun’s manager. You know, Kwak Eunho hyung.”
“Ah, yeah, I know him.”
Cha Joobin nodded casually as if he was already familiar with the person.
“Do you wanna go?”
“Sure. But… do you think we can film there?”
Gong Yoochan scratched his nose awkwardly.
Since the voucher was valid until tomorrow, they could always go the next day if filming wasn’t allowed.
He hesitated, not wanting to waste the gift, when suddenly he heard a soft “Hello” right in front of him.
Cha Joobin, unexpectedly showing some initiative, was politely talking on the phone.
“Oh, so we can go tomorrow? Um… one moment.”
Cha Joobin moved the phone away slightly and whispered, “Is tomorrow okay?”
Since Gong Yoochan didn’t have any plans, he nodded, making Cha Joobin smile.
They had originally planned to go today, but it seemed like filming wasn’t allowed.
Since their shoot ended today, they figured going tomorrow wouldn’t be a problem.
Gong Yoochan scooted closer to sit right beside Cha Joobin, who glanced at him.
After confirming his own schedule, Cha Joobin mumbled a response.
“Alright, we’ll come for the last time slot tomorrow. Gong Yoochan and Cha Joobin.”
His voice was much more playful compared to the mature tone he’d just been using.
Amused by this sudden shift, Gong Yoochan gently squeezed his thigh, causing Cha Joobin to wrinkle his face in slight annoyance, squirming in discomfort.
“Do you have plans tomorrow? What time is the last slot?”
“Eight o’clock. I have something in the afternoon, but it should be done around five.”
Still on the phone, Cha Joobin continued the conversation.
Not long after, the reservation was confirmed, and the person on the other end told them to arrive for the last time slot.
Standing close enough to hear the call, Gong Yoochan chuckled softly and got up.
Now they had to figure out what to do for the rest of today…
As he slowly stood up and turned to look at Cha Joobin, Gong Yoochan suddenly froze. Cha Joobin, who had been answering obediently with “yes, yes,” gradually lifted his gaze to meet his.
At that moment, Gong Yoochan leaned in and kissed him.
There was no reason; he just wanted to. Instead of pulling away, he kissed him again, softly and playfully, letting little smacking sounds fill the air.
The grip on the phone in Cha Joobin’s hand tightened noticeably.
“I-I’ll hang up now. Yes, we’ll be there tomorrow.”
With Cha Joobin’s flustered voice echoing through the room, Gong Yoochan leaned in for one final, longer kiss before slowly pulling away.
“…Joobin?”
Eyes squeezed shut, Cha Joobin was clutching the bedsheets tightly, as if this was his first-ever kiss.
